Johns Creek adds more on-line services
Building permitting, inspection made easier
9/25/2007
Continuing its goal of bringing more city services online, the City of Johns Creek has launched a new online system for its building permit application and building inspection processes.
Residential and commercial applicants who have already applied in person for a permit can now go to the City's website (www.JohnsCreekGA.gov) and click the Building Permit/Inspection icon to check the status of their application and, once the permit is received, request a building inspection.
The new online services do not, however, eliminate the first visit with the City's Community Development department to review construction documents. All applicants still need to come initially to Johns Creek City Hall to apply for a building permit.
But once the permitting process has been started, applicants can check the status online and pay any additional fees due online. And then, once a permit has been received, applicants can schedule an inspection and check its status online.
Any questions about this new online service should be directed to the City of Johns Creek Building division at 678-512-3200.
Johns Creek City Hall is located at 12000 Findley Road, Suite 400, Johns Creek, GA 30097.
