Come this spring, the City of Johns Creek Government will relocate into a new City Hall – it's first – in Technology Park/Johns Creek. Since mid-November, the City operations, Mayor's Office and City Council have been operating out of space donated by Speaker Pro Tem Mark Burkhalter at his office complex located at 1190 Medlock Bridge Road.

"Representative Burkhalter's generosity has been tremendous in every way," said Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker. "He truly went the extra distance for his constituents, providing the citizens the office space needed to launch our city government."

This week it was announced the city secured a 5-year lease on space in an existing building at 12000 Findley Road, just off GA 141/Medlock Bridge Road. The building will house the Johns Creek government, administrative and operating services as well as the Mayor and City Council offices.

"We're very happy to have a place to call home," said Mayor Mike Bodker. "Although we are viewing this as a temporary location, it really is an ideal space with enough room to address the city's needs while we look down the road for a more central and permanent City Hall."

The City will take over approximately 33,000 square feet on the 3rd and 4th floors of the building, which are currently unoccupied. Design work has begun on building it out to meet the specific needs of the City.
