Proposed 2007 budget presented
Public hearings set for Jan. 29, Feb. 12

Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker presented a proposed FY2007udget to City Council during a Jan. 16 Work Session. The 10-month budget runs from Dec. 1, 2006 through Sept. 30, 2007. Going forward, the city's fiscal year will run from Oct. 1 throughSept. 30 unless otherwise determined by Mayor and Council.
Mayor Bodker showed a balanced budget with estimated revenues and expenditures for 2007 at $31,877,250.
The proposed FY2007 budget will be reviewed by Council and discussed in public hearings Jan. 29 and Feb. 12, prior to its submission for consideration of adoption by Council on Feb. 26.
All public hearings on the budget will be held at 7pm inthe temporary City Council Meeting room at 11555 Medlock Bridge Road, Suite 107, Duluth, GA 30097.
