The first Johns Creek City Council was fully seated Dec. 19 with the arrival of newly elected Council Members Dan McCabe (Post 2) and Ivan Figueroa (Post 4) following their wins in the Dec. 5 runoff elections.

Mayor Mike Bodker welcomed McCabe and Figueroa to a 7 pm Special Called Meeting of the Council, where they were sworn into office by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Christopher Brasher.

"It's exciting to be working on city issues of substantive matters with my fellow council members. Having worked together on volunteer committees with them over the years I appreciate the depth of their knowledge," said Figueroa.
