Council appoints residents to Recreation and Parks committee
Advisory group to research issues, advise on actions, events, citizen participation

JOHNS CREEK, Georgia—February 14, 2008—The Johns Creek City Council on February 11 named seven residents to serve on the city's Recreation and Parks Advisory Committee.

The committee is charged with researching issues facing City parks, including recreation programs; and for advising the City, Mayor and Council on appropriate actions and events, as well as opportunities for citizen participation. The appointees are:

Kirk Franz, Recreation & Parks Manager, anticipates that the Committee will have it's first meeting in the month of March. Please check the City Web site at www.JohnsCreekGA.gov for specific dates, times and locations.
