Johns Creek Police Dept. gears up
Hiring process for full staff begins online

JOHNS CREEK, Georgia—January 14, 2008—The City of Johns Creek, Georgia, today begins hiring law enforcement professionals to staff its new Police Department, set to launch April 2008.

Interested individuals should visit the Careers section of the city's website at JohnsCreekGA.gov to apply for several dozen positions, including patrol officers, traffic officers and detectives.

"We are seeking honest, mature and disciplined law enforcement professionals with strong personal ethics, effective interpersonal and decision-making skills and solid judgment," said Chief of Police Ed Densmore.

Incorporated December 2006, Johns Creek is the 10th largest city in Georgia, with a population of approximately 65,000 people.
