New Web features help citizens do business with city
Pay tickets, check code enforcement cases on-line
JOHNS CREEK, Georgia—July 10, 2007—The City of Johns Creek continues to provide more ways for residents to connect with their government via the Internet through the introduction of two new online services that enable citizens to pay traffic fines and follow the progress of code enforcement cases through the city's Web site, www.JohnsCreekGA.gov.
Those who receive speeding tickets and other traffic infractions can pay their fines through Courtware software. Users simply locate their ticket by ticket/citation number or driver's license number then use a credit card to pay the fine.
Property owners who have code enforcement cases pending can track the progress of their case through Click2Gov software. Code enforcement officers will provide a case number and PIN code number to access the site.
Links for both services are now available on the city Web site's home page.
More online capabilities are on the way. City officials say business owners soon will be able to renew their city business licenses through the Web.
