April 1 is deadline for filing Homestead Exemptions

JC homeowners, and homeowners 65 years old or older, can save money on their 2012 property taxes by filing for homestead exemptions. You may be eligible for one or more exemptions offered by the City, as well as those offered by Fulton County. Read more.

Federal Emergency Management Agency and Department of Natural Resources officials have redrawn the Georgia flood maps which will affect flood insurance or use of specific parcels within many municipalities, including Johns Creek. Read more.

This spring, the City will become the first municipality in Georgia to install flashing yellow left-turn arrows on traffic signals in certain intersections of the City to assist in moving traffic more efficiently and more safely. Read more.

Businesses in the City of Johns Creek have until March 31, 2012 to renew their business tax certificates by submitting a business tax return with payment of all fees and taxes due. Read more.

You can enter important information about medical conditions, children, pets, emergency contacts and more for confidential use in a 9-1-1 call, which could help first responders better address any future emergency you may have. Read more.

Firefighters defeat Police, 35-27, in "Guns 'N Hoses" victory

Johns Creek and Alpharetta firefighters and police officers faced off once again for the third annual community basketball game, "Guns 'N Hoses," at Johns Creek High School on Jan. 28. Read more.
