City repairs bridges to cut fire response times
The Public Works Department this summer will scrape off tons of asphalt layered over four bridges and make other fixes, which should allow the spans to handle firetrucks and shave up to three minutes off response times. Read more. |

City dedicates station to fallen firefighter
The City was just 6 months old when Firefighter Felix Roberts died trying to save a resident trapped in a burning home. In recognition of his sacrifice and commitment, Fire Station 63 will be dedicated to Roberts on June 19th. Read more. |
JCPD raises $59,000 for Special Olympics
