GDOT plans McGinnis Ferry lane shift

Work on the McGinnis Ferry project will focus near the Chattahoochee River for the next several months, including a shift in traffic lanes sometime in the next few weeks. Read more.

Time to renew business tax certificates

Businesses in the City have until March 31, 2010 to renew their business tax certificates by submitting a business tax return with full payment of all fees and taxes due. Read more.

April 1 deadline to file Homestead Exemptions

Only homeowners who have not applied previously or who qualify for new exemptions need to fill out the homestead exemption paperwork. File with Fulton County by Apr. 1. Read more.

Relay for Life April 16-17 at Johns Creek HS

Relay for Life

On the heels of an amazing first year, the 2010 Johns Creek Relay for Life will be held at the new Johns Creek High School on Friday, April 16 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday.

The first Johns Creek Relay for Life at Taylor Road Middle School grossed just over $115,000, earning "Best Rookie Relay" honors for the 2008-09 South Atlantic Division. Join the city, Emory Johns Creek Hospital, Georgia Power, CIBAVision, friends, families, survivors and caregivers at for Johns Creek's continued travel down The Road to a Cure.

2010 U.S. Census gears up

United States Census 2010

The first phase of the 2010 U.S. Census is under way: census workers are knocking on doors to verify address information and official census forms are scheduled to be mailed in March 2010. Read more.

City offices closed Presidents Day, Feb. 15

Presidents Abraham Lincoln and George Washington

Johns Creek City Hall, Municipal Court and Police administrative offices will be closed Monday, Feb. 15, in observance of Presidents Day. Offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
