One of the greatest tennis players of all time, Pete Sampras, and American legend Todd Martin will headline the LIVE UNITED Tennis Classic at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek. Read more.

Marines lead Founders Day Parade Dec. 5

Albany Marine Band

The Albany Marine Corps Band will lead the procession at the third annual Founders Day Parade. They will step off at 10 a.m., the first of five marching bands that includes area high schools.

The parade route takes them down State Bridge Road to Kimball Bridge. Read more.

Weeklong Founders Celebration

The parade is just one highlight in a week of festivities Nov. 30-Dec. 5 marking the anniversary of Johns Creek's incorporation on Dec. 1, 2006. It all starts with the holiday decoration lighting and includes events for all ages.

JCPD names Moses Officer of Quarter

Sgt. Jon Moses

Sgt. Jon Moses, a 15-year law enforcement veteran handling support services and technological needs, was recognized for his outstanding service to the department during the 3rd quarter of 2009. Read more

Special Olympics Georgia recognizes the JCPD

Special Olympics Georgia

The JCPD was recently named "Rookie Department of the Year" and Maj. John Clifton "Rookie of the Year" for their support of this year's Law Enforcement Torch Run. Read more.

City office closures in November

City offices will be closed Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day and Nov. 26-27 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Offices will re-open at 8:30 a.m. the following business day.
