The redesigned city Web site recently was selected as a finalist for the National Association of Government Webmaster's prestigious Pinnacle Award and won the Member's Choice Award. Read more.

Police laud their best with awards and medals

The Johns Creek Police Department recognized 10 of its members for exemplary public service at the 2009 Police Awards Banquet held August 22 at the Standard Club. Read more.

In addition to the usual array of activities, Recreation and Parks will have a snow machine on hand to celebrate the Oct. 3 'Movies in the Park' feature presentation "Ice Age 3." Read more.

2nd 'Taste' at Chattahoochee HS, 6-9 p.m., Oct. 2

The second annual Taste of Johns Creek features gourmet food samples from over 50 popular restaurants. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door, children 4 and under free. Read more.

Tennis legends hold court here Nov. 7

One of the greatest tennis players of all time, Pete Sampras, and American legend Todd Martin will headline the LIVE UNITED Tennis Classic at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek. Read more.
