Survey says: Voters overwhelmingly approve
Three-quarters of Johns Creek voters give the City and its elected officials high marks for the first two years of incorporation, and are particularly pleased with the City's new police department. They also think traffic congestion is the number one issue facing the City.
Those are just some of the results of a recent citizen attitude survey.

Comp Plan process moves to completion Nov. 10
Last September the City began development of its first Comprehensive Plan. The document includes a future land-use policy, transportation master plan and greenspace plan, and defines a shared vision for how land will be used.
The process involved 20+ meetings including two open houses, public hearings, a community assessment and extensive citizen input, leading to development of the actual plan with input from an 11-member Citizens Advisory Committee along with transportation and green plan subcommittees under the guidance of several consultants and staff.
The state Department of Community Affairs and Atlanta Regional Commission have approved the plan. The process culminates November 10 with a final public hearing, where citizens have one last chance to offer their comments, followed by a vote on adoption by the Mayor and Council.
The meeting begins at 7 pm in the City Council Chambers, third floor of Johns Creek City Hall, 12000 Findley Road. Click here to review the plan.
