The City's Volunteer Program gives citizens the chance to become more involved, and allows the City to further expand and enhance the services it provides to the community.

There are a variety of areas in which volunteers are needed throughout the year, including the annual Founders Day Parade, Recreation and Parks' special events, Farmers Market, Park Place at Newtown School (Johns Creek's active adult center) and much more.

Are you part of a group wishing to volunteer?

Whether you are an individual looking for volunteer opportunities, or part of a large group, please complete the Volunteer Application, providing information about your group and when it can volunteer.

Need to earn Volunteer Hours?

We have plenty of opportunities for students seeking to complete volunteer hours required by National Honor Society, Beta and Junior Beta Clubs and other organizations. If you are a school coordinator of one of these organizations, please contact Maggie Barker at 678-512-3430 to get on the distribution list when additional opportunities arise.

Why volunteer?

People volunteer for a variety of reasons, including the chance to gain new skills, make new friends, use their time and talents in their local community and more.

Thank you for considering the City of Johns Creek for your volunteer efforts. We welcome your interest and hope you will find your experience both rewarding and fun.
