Recreation & Parks Advisory Committee
Purpose: This committee serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on:
- Matters of policy and administration for the city owned parks,
- Recreation programs operated in these parks,
- Related investigations and reports referred by Council, and
- Related recommendations on policies and proposed ordinances which the Committee deems important.
The City Council is not legally required to act upon the Committee's recommendations.

"The Johns Creek Recreation and Parks Division is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and sense of community by providing safe facilities for active and passive programs that promote health and well-being."
