Public Art Master Plan

Based on a collaborative approach between city residents, the arts community, not-for-profit agencies, stakeholders, and the City, a 2013 Leadership Johns Creek team developed a Public Art Master Plan for public statuary, sculpture, and other media in the City.

The Plan includes a map of potential art locations, guidelines for public art, a funding strategy, and a list of corporate and non-profit agencies that might contribute to projects.

The Plan promotes the aesthetic values of the entire community; provides the opportunity to enjoy and appreciate works of art; reflects and enhance the city's heritage, diversity and character; integrates public artworks into the architecture, infrastructure and landscape; encourages the preservation and protection of works of art.
