Letter from the Chief:
The Johns Creek Police Department is a professional law enforcement organization that prides itself on delivering the highest level of quality service possible to the 76,728 residents and nearly 2,000 businesses in Georgia's 10th largest city.
Our motto is to serve the City of Johns Creek with Justice, Courage, Professionalism and Dedication.
We are honored to serve this great and diverse community and we are committed to the highest standards of a community policing philosophy.
We believe that community involvement and support is the key to our success and we seek opportunities to work closely with the citizens and businesses of Johns Creek in our various Community Services. Please read about our PACT (Police & Community Together) neighborhood watch program, SHIELD business watch program, Citizens Police Academy, STOP safe teen driver program, and Underage Drinking Diversion program, and consider signing up for these free community services.
As part of our own volunteer outreach, we take an active role each year in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Georgia, which serves some 22,000 Georgians with intellectual disabilities. The community's ongoing support for our fundraising is greatly appreciated.
Only the most qualified candidates are recruited for the Johns Creek Police Department and we are committed to retaining, training and equipping them proficiently in order for them to excel.
Established in 2008, we received our national accreditation from CALEA (Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies) in July 2010, and state certification from the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police in October 2010.
