Arts on the Creek Sept. 4 and 5 offers juried art

Need something really nice for that empty space on the wall? Come to Arts on the Creek Sept. 4 and 5, and see some of the finest artwork from among the best artists in the area.

Arts on the Creek has a juried art exhibition consisting of paintings, drawings, print-making, mixed media, collages and photographs. Arts on the Creek, which will be at Perimeter Church at Old Alabama and Medlock Bridge roads, started in 2007. The show last year drew an estimated 10,000 attendees viewing work from more than 50 artists.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5.

Sponsors include the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce, Perimeter Church, Johns Creek Arts Center, and the City of Johns Creek.

Volunteers needed! Arts on the Creek is becoming a big Labor Day event and needs volunteers. All levels and skills are welcome! See flyer.
